Soda Stereo received the Latin Grammy for musical excellence

Arrive. Soda Stereo received its first Latin Grammy. And it was for Musical Excellence, the award given to artists who, over the course of their careers, have made a creative contribution of exceptional artistic merit to Latin music.

Charly Alberti and Zeta Bosio were those who received the award, in a moving ceremony held at the Teatro de Capitanías in Seville, Spain, as part of Latin Grammy Week.

And obviously, Gustavo Cerati is remembered at all times. Laura, Benito and Lisa Cerati, sister and children of the late leader of the group, were present to represent them.

This recognition is of course in addition to the numerous awards that the iconic Spanish rock trio has obtained throughout their career.

The Musical Excellence Award is rreserved for a restricted group of artists. This year, for example, Carmen Linares, Mijares, Arturo Sandoval, Simone and Ana Torroja also received it.
