First part of the series about the British royal family is now available on the streaming service
Netflix released, this Thursday, November 16th, the first part of the sixth and final season of The Crown, series about the life of the British royal family. In the first four final episodes, the focus is the princess’s last days of life. Dianaplayed by the actress Elizabeth Debicki (Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 3).
The episodes will cover Lady Di’s problems with the royal family, her relationship with Dodi Fayedthe paparazzi chase, the car accident that took the life of the People’s Princess, and, finally, the repercussion of the tragedy on the reign of Elizabeth II (Imelda Staunton, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix).
The last season of The Crown will be divided into two parts. The second and final wave of episodes will arrive on Netflix in a month, in December 14, 2023. In the final six episodes, we will follow the British royal family returning to normal life after Diana’s death, but dealing with popular opinion about the tragedy of the People’s Princess.
The last episodes will still show the Queen Elizabeth II dealing with the proximity of his Golden Jubilee – the 50th anniversary of his coronation -, the future of the English monarchy with the marriage between Prince Charles (Dominic West) It is Camilla Parker (Olivia Williams), and the birth of romance between prince William (Ed McVey) It is Kate Middleton (Meg Bellamy).
