Steven Spielberg: his beautiful gesture for French middle school students

Steven Spielberg may be one of the most famous directors on the planet, but he also has a reputation for being a very empathetic and generous person. As further proof, we want his recent gesture towards middle school students from Mulhouse in the Grand-Est region who were surprised to discover a video message from the master after the presentation of one of their short films at a film club, which defended his latest film, The Fabelmans.

Thirteen middle school students from the Wolf high school in Mulhouse have in fact made an eight-minute short film entitled “Une Étoile” in which four teenagers, surprised to discover a negative review of The Fabelmansthey decide to kidnap the journalist and present him with a detailed questionnaire on Steven Spielberg’s work.

The students amazed

The short film doesn’t just verbally defend Steven Spielberg’s work; It also pays homage to his cinematic style. The students, guided by their teacher, meticulously incorporated Spielberg’s signature stylistic elements, such as unique shots and an iconic use of musicthus capturing the essence of his art.

At the end of the presentation of the short film, middle school students in Mulhouse were surprised to discover a video message from Steven Spielberg himself thanking them and congratulating them on their work. The young spectators could not believe their eyes and ears.
