News for November 2023 on Netflix: the program

After a month of November that had already delighted the most cinephiles, Netflix closes the year in style with a very generous month of December, starting with the arrival of several highly anticipated films and a slew of Christmas films. Perfect for waiting for the end of year holidays to arrive!

The new films

On the cinema side, Netflix spoils its subscribers once again in December 2023 with the arrival of the film by Sam Esmail (the creator of Mr. Robot) The world after us. In this mysterious thriller, adapted from the short story by Rumaan Alam, a New York couple (played by Julia Roberts and Ethan Hawke) decide to leave the hustle and bustle of the city for a weekend in the countryside with their two children. When they arrive at the sumptuous villa they rented on an online rental site, everything seems perfect for an idyllic weekend. But very quickly strange events begin to occur.

When the owners of the villa arrive to announce it the country is the victim of a cyber attack, the doubt arises: are they telling the truth? This feature film, which will arrive on December 8 on Netflix, has everything to become a great success with a mysterious presentation that will make subscribers’ heads spin.

December 15th is the animated film Chicken Run: The Nuggets’ Threatthe sequel to the cult film Chicken racing, which will be published online. In this new feature film, Ginger and her family, who had found tranquility in a peaceful refuge, are once again confronted with human danger as they try to save their peers.

Master, the new film directed by Bradley Cooper will arrive on Netflix on December 20th. After A star was born, ventures once again into the world of music by stepping into the shoes of Leonard Bernstein, famous conductor and composer. For this film, which he had been preparing for six years, he had to learn to conduct a live orchestra. Master takes place over thirty years and follows both the career and eventful private life of Leonard Bernstein.

Finally, on December 22nd, Zack Snyder’s great piece of science fiction arrives, Rebel moon (part 1) which will be available on Netflix. In this space opera we will follow the struggle of Kora (Sofia Boutella), a former soldier in the service of a tyrannical galactic empire, who finds peace in a colony of farmers. But when the Empire’s ships arrive on the planet and destroy everything, she embarks on a mission to wipe them out. Unable to do it alone, she goes from planet to planet in search of rebels who wish to join her cause.

New series

As for the series, Netflix will put the second season of the horror series online on December 1st Sweet Homewhich had achieved great success on the platform. In these new episodes that take place in a post-apocalyptic world, the inhabitants of the building attacked by monsters will once again have to try to survive as the army gets involved and is ordered to shoot everything that is not human. A good dose of hemoglobin is to be expected again!

Change of scenery on December 6th with the arrival on the platform of Peace Massilia, the new action series from Olivier Marchal. The show follows a group of police officers to particular methods who tracks down a dangerous criminal to prevent Marseille from falling into a spiral of violence.

The second part of the final season of The crown will be available from December 15th on Netflix. An event awaited by fans which will mark the farewell to this series on the reign of Elizabeth II. In this latest season, the latter is played once again by Imelda Staunton.

Finally, on December 29th, the universe of The Paper House returns to Netflix with the spin-off dedicated to Berlin. This new series is set before the events of the original Spanish series and will follow Berlin as he plots one of his most ambitious heists in the heart of Paris.
