Charlie and Dix D’Amelio waste no time building their empire. Following news of the arrival of Dixie’s debut album and Charlie’s first perfume, UTA Reputation, the popular TikTok sisters officially opened the first physical boutique of their fashion brand Social Tourist in Los Angeles today.
On Melrose Avenue, across from the Adidas and Gucci stores, the Social Tourist (8406 Melrose) pop-up follows the latest Connecticut news. D’Amelio show The affordable brand was created in collaboration with Hollister, including the June collection, which will be available online tomorrow. Priced from $20 to $80 in May pods, vintage-inspired silhouettes like “Daddy Shirts” and shorts with floral prints and ’70s fabrics, swimwear and overlays with O-ring details, high-waisted jeans. With heart pads or cargo pockets, synthetic leather tops and vests.
“In the last few collections, it’s been a lot of summer, fun, fun colors that we love to wear, and some neutrals that will keep you very constipated,” said Charlie, who just turned 18. the hollywood reporter. “The color palette is very important and I think that’s what we really tried to focus on and try to establish what you feel when you see it. The June lineup includes tailored dresses with comic book prints, with colorful tops and miniskirts, and more. Rounding out the ready-to-wear pieces for summer are lounge essentials like oversized logo sweaters, polo shorts and tone-blocking joggers.

Charlie’s first perfume, Born Dreamer, will be available at Ulta from June 26th. Designed for everyone to use, the fruity and floral scent has a vegan formula and contains angel pear and orange zest with top notes, sustainably grown jasmine and middle notes. Pink Sugar, Cashmere Musk and Cedarwood.
Dixie, who only uses her first name as her musical last name, has released her debut album, 15 tracks. a letter to meJune 10.
In her first perfume, Charlie explains that her 20-year-old sister and a very lucky barista were the first to hear about the light, floral scent that Dixie says she gave off in the last year.

What was it like walking into the store for the first time? Include some social media design touches?
charlie d’amélio I don’t think anyone knew what it would be like, but when we were talking about what was actually in store, [we wanted it to be] Functional and super fun, yet elegant. Is sick. It turned out to be ideal.

Pan My summer is booked but I plan to use it for the tour which will be a lot of fun. Maybe go on vacation…
Charlie I’m not planning a vacation!
When each of you worked on projects over the past year, we suggested that you both need to learn each other’s secrets. Charlie, did you get to revisit Dix Born Dreamer?
Pan I’ve been using it for a year, everyone tells me it smells great and they won’t let me say anything.
Charlie I was a [coffee shop] And the woman who took my order said, “Oh my God, what perfume are you wearing?” I replied “I can’t really say but I will write the date where you can get it and the name but I can’t tell anyone”. Keeping these secrets is the hardest thing in the world, because when someone asks me, I feel bad and say, “I can’t tell you.”
I’ve never had a unique perfume that I wear every day and it was very exciting because with me today, perfume is what I do before going out or seeing someone, and it makes me feel together. Without him, I knew I was missing something, but I did. [didn’t want to] Go try the whole bouquet. I didn’t know how perfumes affected most of her body chemistry… I think there’s something so fun about Born Dreamer that it really works for everyone. I gave gifts to all my friends and I talk about it all the time, and I was able to have these conversations – “How do you dress?” All my friends are very different, so it’s nice to hear positive feedback from everyone.
And Dixie, did Charlie hear the album for the first time?
Pan Charlie wasn’t allowed to hear that.
Charlie Me, Dix and [her boyfriend] November [Beck] I had a listening party and played three seconds of each song. This is the most annoying thing in the world, because I was like, “Okay, can I hear this?” And he says, “Yes!” and then close [the song] It’s off. I hear the first four beats. I love the album and I saw clearly how it worked on it for so long, so it’s really nice to get together and share your reality and listen to it on Spotify instead of looking it up on my phone.
Now that summer has officially started in Los Angeles, what are your favorite skin care hacks during the hot months?
Pan Face oil only, it’s my daily and nightly use. Whatever is closest to me, literally any type of oil and I just put it on, is the most refreshing feeling for me. I’m very lucky that I don’t have super oily skin, but I do have super dry skin. So I literally put it in my hair too; This is my wish for everything.
Charlie Skin care was something she paid a lot of attention to. I have been suffering from skin problems for a long time, so taking care of my health and restoring my skin barrier is something I do a lot, for example, in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening, on a very busy schedule.
Are there plans to launch a beauty brand?
Charlie I think anything is possible, but it’s not in the cards. I definitely want to calculate [it] Outside.
Pan I think I’m going to make makeup remover wipes.
Charlie I think I should invent a lazy girl.
Pan Lazy makeup would be the best thing in the world. Literally take it all off and get tattoos all day. Now I just had an idea!
