Apple TV+ documentary series examines the tragic murder of musical and cultural icon John Lennon

O Apple TV+ released this Tuesday (28) the official trailer for the new documentary series in three episodes John Lennon: Murder Without Trial (“John Lennon: Murder Without A Trial”), narrated by the Emmy winner, Kiefer Sutherland. The production will premiere worldwide in the streaming catalog on December 6th (Wednesday).

Exclusive interviews with eyewitnesses and never-before-seen photos from the crime scene shed a new perspective on the former Beatle’s life and murder John Lennonbrutally murdered by confessed defendant Mark David Chapman in 1980.

The series is considered the best analysis of the death of John Lennon until now. The production had access to the New York Police Department, the Parole Board and the District Attorney’s Office through the Freedom of Information Act.

Among the highlighted testimonials are Richard Petersona taxi driver who witnessed the shooting; Jay Hastingsa doorman at the Dakota building, where Lennon lived with his family, who heard the ex-Beatle’s last words; David Suggsdefense attorney for Mark David Chapman; ANDlliot Mintzclose friend of Lennon It is Yoko Ono; and the Dr. Naomi Goldsteinthe psychiatrist who first evaluated the Chapman killer.
