In this miniseries, Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch in the MCU) plays Candy, a housewife in a small Texas town in the late 1970s. Loving death is based on a true tragedy,‘a news which took place in Wylie, Texas, and saw Candy Montgomery being accused of the murder of Betty Gore, his lover’s wife. Betty Gore’s body was found by her neighbors on June 13, 1980, with her daughter Bethany in the next room, crying in her crib.
