One of the biggest franchises in cinema history, Star Wars spent 10 years without theatrical releases and returned in 2015 with The force awakensmarked by the death of Han Solo (Harrison Ford) in the hands of Kylo Renplayed by Adam Driverhaunted by this scene to this day.
During an episode of the talk show Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?production of Maxthe artist revealed how several fans of the saga constantly remind him that he was “responsible” for the death of one of the most beloved characters in Star Wars.
“Someone reminds me of this every day. Not every day, but yeah, it used to be more, but now it’s probably once a month somewhere,” he stated Driver with great humor in conversation (via IndieWire). He also took the opportunity to talk about the emotion of Han Solo’s death.
“Obviously, the [partitura] in John Williams wasn’t playing in the background and it was actually quite exciting to film it with Harrison,” he recalled. “Harrison was so generous and contemplative and for me it was a great moment on set, even though it was his death.”
