Rebel Moon: the great piece of science fiction cinema arrives on Netflix
At the end of the year, Netflix spoils its most movie-loving subscribers! In fact, three large pieces will arrive on the platform this December. This Friday, December 8th, it’s first and foremost the turn of the apocalyptic thriller The world after us who arrives. Brought to you by Julia Roberts, Ethan Hawke and Mahershala Ali, this film directed by Sam Esmail (Mr. Robot) chronicles the moments leading up to a major cyberattack against the United States.
One of the favorites of the next Oscars will be available on December 20th: Masterby and starring Bradley Cooper, who plays music giant Leonard Bernstein, the legendary composer of History of the West Side. This biopic spanning several decades should earn its portrayer an Oscar nomination for Best Actor.
Finally, Rebel moon, Zack Snyder’s new film will also arrive on Netflix this December. This is the first part of a diptych, the second part of which will arrive in April. Highly anticipated, the first film will finally arrive sooner than expected.
Early release date!
Rebel moon is a Dantesque space opera that has been running through Zack Snyder’s mind for about twenty years. The action takes place in a peaceful colony of a galactic empire run by a dictator. It is here that we meet Kora (played by Sofia Boutella), a former soldier of the empire, who has found refuge on this isolated planet where farmers live. But everything changes the day the tyrannical regent Balisarius arrives on his planet to appropriate its resources and torment its inhabitants. Kora then decides to form a team of the best soldiers in the galaxy and travels to nearby planets to find them.
And good news for fans eagerly waiting to discover this new feature film, as Netflix has moved up its release date! It will go online on December 21st and not the 22nd as previously announced.
