Part of the cast and crew of The chosen one – a drama series that aired on the streaming service for a few years – allegedly was involved in a serious car accident. The cast and crew were said to have been traveling in a van near Mulege on the Baja California Sur peninsula when the vehicle crashed, according to the Hollywood reporter . As reported by the trade, local media reports that the serious accident occurred on Thursday, June 16. At the time, the vehicle was apparently traversing a desert area before skidding and rolling over.
The two victims of the accident were not immediately identified, although their names were officially released on Friday by the Baja California Department of Culture. It was revealed that Raymundo Garduño Cruz and Juan Francisco González Aguilar died in the accident. Six other cast and crew members were also reportedly injured and, as of this writing, have not been named.
