Rebel Moon: the new Zack Snyder has arrived
For several years, Netflix (like other streaming platforms) has become the ideal refuge for many filmmakers who wish to regain total artistic freedom, which they no longer find in traditional studios. Like Martin Scorsese, David Fincher and Bradley Cooper, Zack Snyder has been collaborating with the red N brand since 2021 and with his feature film The army of the dead. This Friday, December 22nd, there is her new film, Rebel moonwhich is available, a Star Wars style space operadivided in two parts.
In this first part entitled Son of fire, we discover Kora (Sofia Boutella), a former soldier of a galactic empire led by a tyrant, who has found peace in a peaceful colony populated by farmers. But when the empire’s army, led by the terrifying Balisarius (Ed Srein), arrives to plunder the planet, Kora has no choice but to rebel with the help of some farmers. But not being able to fight against an entire army alone, they decide to go to nearby planets to recruit the best warriors in order to create a rebel alliance capable of shaking those in power.

Son of fire it is therefore the first part of Rebel Moon, which ends with a cliffhanger that prefigures an epic final clash between the rebels and Balisarius’ army.
