Stranger Things fans are nervous about Steve’s fate in season 4, and the latest comments from the Duffer brothers aren’t helping.

After the fall of the flight. 1 of Strange things Fans of the fourth season were excited but scared of what might be included in the final two episodes of the penultimate season of the Netflix series. Perhaps one of the best parts of the show is Steve Harrington, the band’s mother-turned-asshole and fan-favorite character. However, after Steve finds himself trapped in the Upside Down and attacked by the Demobats, fans have every right to be concerned about him and the Duffer Brothers are “excited” for what’s to come.

Matt and Ross Duffer, creators and executive producers of Strange thingsdiscussed Steve’s prognosis with television line. Clearly, the character, played by Joe Keery, has become popular and loved around the world, and after his stint on the Upside Down, fans are concerned about what he might hold in store for him. However, the Duffer brothers are of no help, as Matt explained his love of him for the concerns of fans:

Everyone is still worried about Steve. Love you. We still have to beat Steve one way or another, so the Demobats have already done that job very well this season.

I have to admit that there is something about a character in danger that I appreciate, because I like being worried and worried, as well as seeing some other characters come to the rescue. However, Steve has been through enough and would rather do a fun spin-off with him and Dustin.

Unfortunately, this doesn’t seem to be happening. While the Duffers haven’t explained what Steve is getting into, Ross said fans should definitely be worried about the chaos. Strange things episodes And with the two episodes setting the stage for the upcoming fifth and final season, I’m more concerned than ever. In Ross’s words:

It’s wrong to say “excited”, but I’m glad people are worried. And they should be worried before the last two episodes. [of Season 4] – for everyone.

Strange things is known for going big or coming home when it comes to season endings and seasons in general, which season 4 has always been. The series is also known for its heartbreaking deaths and for letting the characters live longer than they deserved. With Steve having a redemptive arc and being a beloved character, it’s unclear what will happen to him in volume 2. Hopefully Steve survives into season five.

Meanwhile, the first part of Strange things Season 4 introduced its new big villain, Vecna, and even included a guest role for horror icon Robert Englund. The series also included one of the most talked about scenes, with Sadie Sink taking center stage. It will be interesting to see how the last two episodes of the season surpass the top seven (if they do) and how they set up season 5.

Fingers crossed, the Duffer brothers are just kidding and Steve is fine. Or, at least, no lasting side effects of the Upside Down. Because this place is terrible and I wish it didn’t terrify the characters more. Don’t miss volume 2 of Strange things Season 4 will be released on Friday 1st July on Netflix!
