‘The Bear’ won four awards at this year’s Critics Choice Awards
Ebon Moss-Bachrach thanked Taylor Swift in his speech upon receiving the award at the Critics Choice Awards. He made reference to the episode of The bear in which his character, Richie, tries to buy tickets for his ex-wife and daughter to attend the singer’s concert.
Moss-Bachrach also thanked Olivia Colman, who makes a cameo appearance in the same episode as Chef Terry. In the second season of the series, Richie also sings the hit “Love Story”, by Swift.
I have to thank my two special scene partners this year, Olivia Colman It is Taylor Swift. It is a privilege to play this role. It is a very beautiful experience to take this man from a difficult place to the light. It’s not often you can do that—interpret joy. It has been a very incredible and special experience for me.
The bear took home four awards last night. The next season of the series does not yet have a release date, but it should start recording in 2024.
