“Disney said no thanks”: bad news for She-Hulk season 2

She-Hulk will have to settle for one season

One of the worst productions offered by Marvel Studios since the creation of the MCU“. This is the conclusion of the criticism of CinemaSeries ON She-Hulk when the series aired on Disney+. But if for us the show was a failure, some viewers appreciated it to discover Jessica Walters, Hulk’s cousin, who works as a lawyer and must learn to manage her emotions when she transforms into this famous green creature. The series also sought to break the codes of the superhero genre, with an emphasis on comedy and feminist discourse. Unfortunately, for those who would have appreciated the proposal of Jessica Gaoand who hoped a season 2this is unlikely to happen.

She is the main actress Tatiana Maslany who announced this news during an interview available on Forbes. When asked about the possibility of seeing her return She-Hulk for the new episodes, he explained that there was little chance of that happeningparticularly due to going over budget for the first season.

I do not think so. I think we maxed out our budget and Disney said, “No, thanks.”

The designer wanted to continue the adventure

Clear, crisp and precise from Disney. Although the study did not formalize the cancellation of the She-Hulk, nothing has been announced for more than a year, which did not bode well. However, during the promotion of the series, creator Jessica Gao had spoken out his desire to continue the adventure, despite being very careful. At the microphone ofAssignedhe has declared:

I can’t answer for sure why Kevin Feige decides what happens to the Marvel Universe. But I hope we still get Marvel adventures with She-Hulk.

Likewise with Expirationhe explained that he had taken precautions in the writing of the first season From She-Hulkknowing that nothing was assured for a sequel.

I’ve been writing for television for a long time and you can never guarantee that you’ll get another season, especially when you’re on your first season. So the prudent thing for a writer working on a series is to tell a satisfying and complete story, so much so that if it ends that way you feel like you’ve told at least a complete story while still leaving the door open for, say, six seasons and a movie.

She-Hulk currently remains available on Disney+.
