The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation is holding its next financial gala, the Elizabeth Taylor Ball to end AIDS parties and honor the couple. It has been confirmed that Charlize Theron and Cheryl Lee Ralph will receive Best of the Night awards on September 15 at the gala held at West Hollywood Park in Los Angeles.

Both laid the foundations for the fight to end the disease; Theron through her Charlize Theron Africa Outreach project and the Ralph Diva Foundation.

“The fight against HIV/AIDS has always been at my heart in South Africa, from my childhood to the day I stand up for African youth,” Theron said in a statement. “Seeing the severity of the HIV/AIDS epidemic has increased my commitment, raised awareness and funding for this work, and launched my organization, the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project, which focuses on youth health, education and safety. South Africa. I am incredibly grateful to the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation for recognizing my work at this year’s Elizabeth Taylor Graduation Commitment Award.

The gala, funded by Gilead Sciences with support from American Airlines, will be a dinner for 350 guests and includes a live artists program, a live auction in association with Christie’s and exclusive items from the Elizabeth Taylor Archive.
