From Prey to Boris, here are the new titles coming in 2022 and 2023

Over the next 12 months, three new Italian original productions will be coming to Disney + in Italy. After three seasons and a movie, the cult comedy series BORISwritten and directed by Giacomo Ciarrapico and Luca Vendruscolo, returns with the fourth season to say again, with satirical and unconventional language, what is behind the scenes of the Italian cinema and television world.

All the protagonists of previous seasons and some new entries, in alphabetical order, return to the cast: Luca Amorosino, Giulia Anchisi, Valerio Aprea, Massimiliano Bruno, Ninni Bruschetta, Raffaele Buranelli, Aurora Calabresi, Paolo Calabresi, Astrid Casali, Antonio Catania, Eugenia Costantini, Carolina Crescentini, Cecilia Dazzi, Massimo De Lorenzo, Caterina Guzzanti, Corrado Guzzanti, Andrea Lintozzi, Emma Lo Bianco, Francesco Pannofino, Cristina Pellegrino, Edoardo Pesce, Alessio Praticò, Karin Proia, Andrea Purgatori, Carlo De Ruggieri Sartoretti, Pietro Sermonti, Alessandro Tiberi, Giorgio Tirabassi and Nina Torresi.

BORIS is an original Disney + series and produced by Lorenzo Mieli for The Apartment, a Fremantle group company.

The Good Mother is the new original Italian drama series that tells the true story of three women, who grew up within the fiercest and richest clan of the ‘Ndrangheta, who decided to work with a brave magistrate trying to destroy it. That is why they have to fight for their own family for the right to live and build a new future for their children. According to‘eponymous bestseller by journalist Alex Perry, awarded by the Foreign Press Association, and scripted by Stephen Butchard (Baghdad Central, The Last Kingdom), BAFTA winner, the project is directed by Julian Jarrold (The crown, Being Jane and an Emmy nomination for A girl) and Elisa Amoruso (Maldita spring, Chiara Ferragni: Not posted).

The series is starring Gaia Girace (L‘brilliant friend) in the role of Denise Cosco, Valentina Bellè (Catch-22, The doctors) in the role of Giuseppina Pesce, Barbara Chichiarelli (Suburra – The series, Bad Tales) by Anna Colace, Francesco Colella (ZeroZeroZero, Trust) by Carlo Cosco, Simona Distefano (The Traitor) in the role of Concetta Cacciola, Andrea Dodero (Do not be mad) to Carmine and Micaela Ramazzotti (Insane fun, The first thing bella) in the role of Lea Garofalo.

Produced by Disney, IBC Movie and Sunset Press and based on real events, ‘Ndrangheta, World Wide Mafia tells the story of the war waged by Catanzaro’s public prosecutor Nicola Gratteri against one of the most powerful criminal organizations in the world, the ‘Ndrangheta. Sa The Good Motherthis new Italian production will offer the public a complete, unique and exclusive story on the Italian phenomenon of ‘Ndrangheta.

‘Ndrangheta, World Wide Mafia was produced by Disney together with Italian production company IBC Movie and French production company Sunset Presse. The executive producers for IBC are Francesca Andreoli and Maurizio Feverati. The executive producers for Sunset Presse are Carlos Carvalho Da Silva, Stéphanie de Montvalon, David Tillier. The docuserie was directed by Jacques Charmelot and François Chayé and written by Jacques Charmelot and François Chayé with Giovanni Filippetto and Michela Gallio.
