Jason Bourne, the spy we loved
If Robert Ludlum’s three novels were successful, since the publication of The memory in the skin in 1980, nothing guaranteed that 20 years later the filming of its film adaptation would launch a prestigious action-espionage saga, the first three films of which redefined the genre, for the better.

When asked to give his thoughts on this topic by Stephen Colbert, Matt Damon said:
I didn’t have any details (laughs). There’s a great director, Edward Berger, who made Nothing New in the West, and it’s great. He said he had an idea… I’d like to work with him. But I’m as eager as you are to find out what happens next! I hope it goes well and we can do it.
