How did you get into the program?

with the help of [The Boys‘ showrunner] Eric Kripke’s mother. This is the most sincere answer. I heard when they visited Israel and we went to dinner in Jerusalem and his mother said, “I pointed Eric to you when you saw him on Netflix.” He saw me when the characters fly or in fauda. This is something I didn’t know. I know Frances has been wanted for a long time.

How was the listening process?

I came back to Israel from a trip to China for a friend’s wedding and I remember they called me: “They want another tape, something deeper, in terms of another scene.” So I’m a [friend’s] A place in Tel Aviv and this is a scene with guns and [my friend] Butcher freaks out about the character and I do my homework for the camera, cursing in French, I don’t know. And several IDF [Israel Defense Forces] The officers entered his backyard, took the gun and shouted, “Put the gun down. Put the gun down.” And we both froze in our seats. I almost went crazy with the pants on. It was extreme. What happened was that several neighbors saw us through the window, saw a crazy guy with a gun, and called the police. This is my audit experience in Hollywood.

How much do you keep watching and reading original comics while working on Francis’ characterization?

You know, my trailer, when we pick it up, is full of lines. [on the walls] – Like bubbles – I write about comics, about specific things that French says and stuff like that. is always there, there is respect. But in the sense that I was trying to capture something unique for the comics, I tried it once in the first few seasons. I fought over breast milk and these two are leaving. And I said, “You know what, I want to try something outside of the comics.” At least [the description was]: Frances soars high, like a great leap. I even went and landed on my back and realized, maybe a hit is better.

play Children Did it affect the experience of watching superhero movies?

I think it kind of ruined the whole superhero experience. I used to think that Spandex men, who have special powers, are cool. But on this show he just blacked out. When I see superheroes on screen, I don’t buy anymore. For the past 10 years, the entire world has been a case of superheroes trying to escape reality. and then i read Children And I say, “They took the genre and turned it upside down.” They said, “Let’s see how superheroes act in front of a mirror as they go about their day. What do they actually do when they remove Spandex?

Did you have time to do other projects? Children?

Actually I did, I have a movie called sling I met two months ago. Directed by Michael Hafstrom. This is a realistic futuristic space thriller with Lawrence Fishburne and Casey Affleck. The three of us are astronauts on one of our missions. [Saturn’s] the moons

Do fans know you are Israel?

I’m happy to be away from people who think I’m really French. It’s like I’m traveling all over the world and people are like, “French! “My God”. They start talking to me in French. Everyone is 100% sure I’m French.
