Borderlands – Here’s the explosive trailer for the movie based on the video game of the same name

After the first images arrived online yesterday evening, the long-awaited film adaptation of Borderlands it shows itself in all its chaotic actions at first official trailer of the film released by Lionsgate.

Among the protagonists will be the most beloved characters from the franchise Borderlands. We’ll see for sure Cate Blanchett in the role of Lilith, Jamie Lee Curtis in the role of Patricia Tannis, Kevin Hart as Roland, Ariana Greenblatt as Tiny Tina and Florian Munteanu as Krieg, while Jack Black who will lend his voice to the iconic robot Claptrap.

They complete the cast Gina Gershon as Mad Moxxi, Edgar Ramírez on Atlas paper, Cheyenne Jackson in Jakobs’ paper, Charles Bababola as Sir Hammelock and Benjamin Byron Davis as Marcus Kincaid. Furthermore, Steven Boyer And Ryann Redmond they will be the two mechanics and siblings Scooter and Ellie. Oliver Richters is present in the role of Krom, Janina Gavankar in the role of Commander Knoxx, while Haley Bennett And Bobby Lee they will play characters created specifically for the film.

Lilith (Blanchett), a notorious outlaw with a mysterious past, reluctantly returns to his planet Pandora to find the missing daughter of the most powerful SOB in the universe, Atlas (Ramirez). Lilith forms an alliance with an unlikely team: Roland (Hart), a former elite mercenary, now desperate for redemption; Little Tina (Greenblatt), a wild pre-teen demolitionist; Krieg (Munteanu), Tina’s rhetorically challenged bodyguard; Tannis (Curtis), the scientist with a tenuous grasp on sanity; And Claptrap (Black), an ever-intelligent robot. These unlikely heroes must fight alien monsters and dangerous bandits to find and protect the missing girl, who may hold the key to unimaginable power. The fate of the universe may be in their hands, but they will fight for something more: for each other.

The film was written by Craig Mazinformer screenwriter of the acclaimed series Chernobyl And The last of us. Direction is instead handled by Eli Rothwith the Tim Miller who was responsible for directing further filming. Among the producers are Avi Arad And Erik Feigwhile there are also executive producers Randy Pitchfordexecutive producer of the franchise and founder of Gearbox Software, and Strauss ZelnickCEO of Take-Two Interactive.

Borderlands will arrive in Italian cinemas in August 9, 2024.
