Promoters of change, 1915 takes the next step and revisits the independent foundations with the premiere of “Resaca”, their brand new song.
Written and composed in Mexico, “Resaca” was born from the creative freedom and heart of touring. A dancing journey with the youthful freshness and sound quality that make the group’s mark
In an exploration of life on tour, the band goes further and Cruz Hunkeler (guitar and vocals), “Penzo” (keyboards and synths), Jeremías Alegre (drums) and Alejo Freixas (bass) return to the laboratory to play with pop melodies and the elegance of synths, focusing his meticulous attention on each arrangement to obtain a precise, direct and impactful result.
“We change a lot from album to album. “Fuera de Lugar” is a rock album recorded live that tries to show our more powerful side, with more distortion. And, as we are used to, now comes a scene that shows the opposite: a more pop side, with songs that are more direct, simpler, but no less energetic,” said Cruz, singer from 1915.
Currently, 1915 has just completed its first international tour which took them through Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Mexico and Costa Rica, with absolute success that highlights the great moment of Argentine music on the continent.
Lyrics to “The Hangover”
I’m exhausted, I’m falling under your feet
You have something that I want to have
If I fall in love, I lose my lucidity
In the mirror of memory I see everything upside down
And so I felt
Because I left?
I know I failed
And I can’t understand it
a hungover sunday
Let’s take a moment to enjoy
This lie betrays us
Let’s leave the pose aside
It’s 20 days out of the country
I don’t know if I can last that long like this
I saw skulls on the base
I saw in Miraflores the mountain and the sea has no end
And so I felt
Because I left?
I know I failed
And I can’t understand it
a hungover sunday
Let’s take a moment to enjoy
This lie betrays us
Let’s leave the pose aside
Look, look from afar
just look
Around
a hungover sunday
Let’s take a moment to enjoy
This lie betrays us
Let’s leave the pose aside
