Canal+: new films expected in March 2024

After offering us Barbie in February Canal+ will finally put online the other film that gave life to the summer 2023 event: Oppenheimer by Christopher Nolan. Released the same day as Barbie, the latter grossed more than $950 million at the worldwide box office. An absolute record for a biopic.

The film explores the complexity of the personality of J. Robert Oppenheimer (played by Cillian Murphy), the inventor of the atomic bomb, his scientific achievements, the ethical and moral dilemmas he had to face contributing to the creation of a weapon of mass destruction. The political, social and historical repercussions of this invention are also highlighted, both during the war and in the Cold War years that followed.

New series expected on Canal+ in March
