The Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to grow and expand and Phase Four has been downright amazing so far. But fans are constantly looking forward to the wonder movie coming soon included Spade with mahershala alì and directed by Bassam Tariq . While some die-hard fans fear the vampire hero may be PG-13 for the MCU, the original Spade Actor Wesley Snipes recently explained why he doesn’t need to be classified as R.
Actor Wesley Snipes played the title character. from Spade series in three films between 1998 and 2004. As such, it’s safe to say he knows the Marvel character well and long before the MCU was formed. Snipes recently spoke with comic on the likelihood of a PG-13 Spade movie in the shared universe, saying:
I think these kinds of stories lend themselves to a wide range of dialogue and situations. Both adult and young adult. I don’t know, it looks like the R classification and the PG-13 base are slipping now because it seems like 13-year-olds can now speak better than adults. As long as it is faithful and organic to the theme, the plot and the world that is created. If there is consistency, I think it’s good.
Well now you have it. While Blade is generally a gory superhero on both the page and screen, Wesley Snipes isn’t thinking about the next Mahershala Ali film should be evaluated R. In particular, he thinks that dialogue should not be influenced by evaluation, apart from the possibility of including profanity.
Wesley Snipes’ comments on the MCU version of Blade Night help calm the fears of comic book purists. Because if even OG Blade himself isn’t worried about the next PG-13 movie, who are we to judge? It’s not that Marvel Studios is known for producing bad comic books; every Phase Three release was a critical and box office success.
Of course, Spade it’s not the only Marvel movie to come which has fans worried about his rating. Ryan Reynolds’ Dead pool 3 is currently in development and is expected to take place as part of the main MCU timeline. The first two films went down in history as R-rated superhero films that were still capable of earning a lot of box office money. But Will Disney-owned MCU retire Reynolds? ? We will have to wait and see.
Marvel Fantastic has long been hoping for Blade to finally join the MCU, although Mahershala Ali has some great shoes to fill thanks to the legacy of Wesley Snipes. While we will have to wait until phase five for this project to come to life on the big screen, Ali has already technically entered the shared universe. That is to say, for a uncredited voice cameo eternal ‘Scene after the credits.
