Naruto inspiration
How did you develop the character of William? Encountered during the broadcast ofOurika on Prime Video, he stated that he had particular inspiration for the psychological aspect of his character: Naruto.
I draw a lot of inspiration from manga characters. When I look at this universe, when I think about the characters, something unlocks in me. It opens a door to things I don’t necessarily have access to. Especially with the Naruto character. He starts from nothing and has so much ambition that he wants to become the hokage, the leader, he wants to be the strongest. He’s like William, who starts from nothing and wants to break all the codes to become the cop who will change everything.

Regarding his physical performance in OurikaNoham Edje explains:
Basically I’m quite sporty. I’ve been doing all the martial arts since I was little, so I have those skills. What we don’t necessarily know is that when we shoot a physical scene, we remake it. We do it again, we do it again, until it works. For example, the scene where I have a race with them (Driss and Moussa Jebli, ed.), there are so many things to fine-tune. It’s a long sequence where I run from start to finish, for these types of scenes you have to prepare. So I did some work in the gym, worked on my muscles, my legs… I was a monster! (laughs)
