Change for the next film The Tucchi
More than 10 years have passed since the release of the first film The Tucchi (2011). Since then we can see the Bouzolles family in many adventures. After earning millions and settling in Monaco, the Tuches discover America, find themselves at the helm of France and deal with a distribution giant. The four films that told these stories have been seen in theaters since more than 10 million viewers. Enough to motivate Pathé to continue this comic saga The Tucchi 5.
We knew that a big change was to be expected for this work with Olivier Baroux, director and co-writer of the previous feature films, leaving the production to Jean-Paul Rouve. Double hats therefore for the interpreter of Jeff Tuche, who already has experience behind the camera. In fact, the actor has already directed Without weapons, hatred and violence (2008), When I’m little (2012), Memories (2015) e Lola and her brothers (2018).
A synopsis and a poster
We also knew the plot of The Tucchi 5 had to take place partly in England because it is “the most emblematic royalty, the closest to us” and that some scenes should be filmed at the Stade de France. All this was still vague. But while filming began a priori, Pathé revealed a synopsis official which provides more details on what lies ahead for Jeff, Cathy and their children. Here it is :
The Tuches once again lead a quiet life in Bouzolles. But when Jeff and Cathy’s nephew Jiji is selected for a football camp at Arsenal, it’s the perfect opportunity for the whole family to discover England and meet the royal family. He does not yet imagine that the name Tuche will forever be engraved in the history of perfidious Albion.
When will it be released The Tucchi 5 ?
What if a Tuche became a Gunners to follow in Thierry Henry’s footsteps? We’re not there yet. On the other hand, we now know what title it was given to The Tucchi 5 and when we will be able to discover the film, given that a first poster has also been revealed. It is therefore February 5, 2025 what will come out The Tuche: God save the Tuche, again with the cast Jean-Paul Rouve, Isabelle Nanty, Claire Nadeau, Sarah Stern, Pierre Lottin and Théo Fernandez. The screenplay was entrusted to the usual screenwriters, Philippe Mechelen, Julien Hervé, Nessim Chikhaoui and this time Jean-Paul Rouve.
