With the end of Young Sheldonspin-off of The Big Bang Theory centered on Sheldon Cooper (played by Jim Parsons in the adult/original version and by Iain Armitage in the derivative), a meme appeared on the internet to Michael Keaton live an older version, something that he himself Parsons opined about.
During an interview on the talk show The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallonthe artist reacted about the fans who would choose Keaton as Old Sheldonfor a possible spin-off of the iconic character
“It’s interesting. There’s definitely a similarity. The only thing I’ll say is Michael Keaton – he still looks like Michael Keatonisn’t it?”, he stated. However, the actor explained it as a derivative of a Sheldon older is quite unlikely.
Let me tell you something: I doubt that will happen. But I would be very excited if Michael Keaton be added to the lineage of portrayers of Sheldon. I would be surprised.
“I admired that man all my life, starting with Domestic Profession (1983), what a cool guy. He’s a wonderful actor,” he continued.
