A new trailer for Deadpool and Wolverine
Super Bowl 2024 was the opportunity for Marvel Studios to reveal the first trailer Deadpool and Wolverine. A much awaited film ever since Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman will reunite for an adventure long awaited by fans. But if the first promotional video left a lot of mystery about Logan’s involvement, highlighting Wade Wilson above all, the new video published online allows us to better understand an important part of the plot.
We knew that Wade would be approached by TVA (Tribunal des Variations Anachroniques) agents, who would allow him to travel through different universes. This is how he will meet a Logan at the end of his rope, depressed after seeing his world collapse. He would be responsible for this tragedy. And Wade will have to find the right words to motivate him and convince him to help save his loved ones. But before joining forces, Deadpool and Wolverine will visibly clash, as we can see the trailer (video in the article).
What do we remember from these images
The duo will have other enemies to face in battles that promise to be bloody. Furthermore, as we saw in the first promotional video, Deadpool and Wolverine will make several nods to the Marvel universe (Deadpool has, as we remember, the ability to break the 4th wall). We can therefore see a logo of the 20th Century Fox studio (acquired by Disney), but also a landmark built by a huge Ant-Man. Additionally, the enemies Deadpool faces appear to wear the same costume as the hero. Added to this are excerpts from a chase that appears honor Mad Max. Finally, the antagonist played by Emma Corrin, bald for the occasion, reveals himself. Without forgetting the joke about cocaine and Kevin Feige announced at Cinemacon.
We can find out Deadpool and Wolverine THE July 24, 2024 in French cinemas.
