During episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the 53-year-old artist joked how he was “the idiot” in a family of “exemplary citizens.” According to him, this was not the first time he had an attitude that defied the laws.
“I suffered misdemeanors when I was young,” he recalled. He and a group of friends at the time were detained by authorities after being mistaken for thieves. “Some friends and I, we can say this now, in California, we were smoking weed behind a community theater late at night.”
“And some flashlights appeared along the creek where we were, and we realized it was the police, so we started tiptoeing away, and they chased us and we ran wisely,” he continued. Offerman.
