Baby Reindeer (Baby Reindeer, in the original), new Netflix series, which is among the most watched productions on the streaming platform, is traumatizing viewers. According to statements on social media, several people watched the novelty believing it was a comedy about a stalkerbut ended up coming across much deeper and heavier themes, such as sexual abuse, for example.

Inspired by a real experience lived by Richard Gaddcreator, screenwriter, producer and protagonist of the series, Baby Reindeer tells the story of bartender and comedian Donny Dunn (Gadd), who sees his life change after a woman named Martha (Jessica Gunning) start chasing him. However, throughout its episodes, issues such as harassment and sexual abuse become part of the story, which has affected the public.
