Spectacular accident on the set of Withdrawal
THE images broadcast by the New York Times they are impressive. While the second film crew of the film Withdrawal, the future Amazon Studios film with stars Eddie Murphy, Keke Palmer and Pete Davidson, was rehearsing a sequence, a spectacular accident occurred. The accident, which occurred in Atlanta on April 20, involved two vehicles traveling side by side, an SUV and an armored van. Suddenly, the van crashed into the SUV, before both vehicles left the road and overturned. Several members of the team were slightly injured and two were hospitalized.

A stunt gone wrong
A spokesperson for Amazon MGM Studios, which is producing the film Withdrawalstated via a press release:
Unfortunately, the sequence did not go as planned and several members of the team were injured. We are still gathering the facts about what happened, but our thoughts are first and foremost with those who are recovering. The well-being of the entire crew and cast is our first priority. All safety measures were previously reviewed and applied during the filming of the sequence.
It would therefore appear that the collision between the two vehicles had been well planned, but it did not proceed as expected. At the moment the causes of the accident have not been revealed. Neither Eddie Murphy nor any other cast members were present that day. Second’APDespite this accident, fortunately less serious than it seems for the team members involved, filming of the film directed by Tim Story should continue without delays.
