A Scottish lawyer was named as the inspiration for the stalker represented in the series and now wants to resolve the problem in court
Pointed out as the inspiration for the stalkerMartha in Baby Reindeer (Baby Reindeer), Netflix’s new hit series, Fiona Harvey is considering suing the streaming platform and the creator, screenwriter, producer and protagonist of the production, Richard Gadd.

However, in recent social media posts, Fiona Harvey vehemently denies being Martha. “Richard Gaddwho is unfamiliar to me, wrote a play four or five years ago for the Fringe Festival called Baby Reindeerwhich now appears to be a hit on Netflix among brainless twenty-somethings.”he wrote in one of them. “It seems he has an ugly, fat woman named Martha played by an actress pretending to be me. I don’t know the actress.”

(…) I know he will do and say anything to make money. He will defame anyone. Richard Gadd and I have never been friends or been in a relationship. He is gay.”

In Baby Reindeer, Gadd plays the comedian Donny Dunn – a version of himself – who is desperate to fulfill his dream of making a living from his art. However, while that doesn’t happen, he works as a bartender in a London bar.
