Ericthe new series by Abi Morgan
Abi Morgan, screenwriter behind it River OR The Riftis back with a new series, Eric. The plot of this thriller is set in the 1980s and centers on Vincent, a man considered one of the best puppeteers in New York. One day, Edgar, his son, disappears on the way to school. While this disappearance destroys him little by little, Vincent maintains hope thanks to a puppet drawn by his son. She hopes to create this puppet so she can show it to Edgar.
Eric it is worn by Benedict Cumberbatch. The British actor is accompanied by Gaby Hoffman, who plays his wife Cassie, and McKinley Belcher III, who plays the police officer in charge of investigating Edgar’s disappearance. Although the series is coming to Netflix in a few weeks, the streaming service has shared a trailer.
