Chocolate Remix releases “Minga”, his third album in Argentina and announces his European tour.
“La Fiesta” in homage to “Still Cantamos” by Víctor Heredia, an emblematic song of struggle and resistance with a guaracha bolichera tone; “Otario”, in the key of Dominican dembow; and “Pizza con Champagne” in which he revisits the historical gems of the era with a cheap and nineties underground reggaeton, were the first previews of the album.
Although “Minga” is composed of 8 songs based on reggaeton (“Pizza con Champagne”) which plays with guaracha (“La Fiesta”), dembow (“Otario”), trap with samplers of the Gaza bombings (“Hago Trap”), perreo (“Pornostar”) , house to dance voguing (“Mostra”), electro-merengue (“Ey Maricón”), and includes a bonus remix for the dance floor (“Qué Sos?”).
“Minga is a totally anti-fascist album and a defender of the party as a space of resistance, because a depressed people are a devoted people,” said the artist.
In addition to this version, Chocolate Remix prepares to embark on a four-month European tourwhich will take her through Austria, Denmark, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, then return to Argentina.
