Mad Max Fury Road: the violent argument between Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron

So, a member of the technical team remembered it during the filming of an important scene in the film, Charlize Theron was ready to shoot at 8 in the morning, in costume and makeup, while Tom Hardy arrived only three hours later, with a nonchalance that put the interpreter of Furiosa out of her mind. She shouted at him, began to insult him, and between the two stars a violent argument almost degenerated, so much so that Charlize Theron then had a producer always at her side.

“I am optimistic“, Miller continued, “so I saw their behavior as a mirror of that of their characters, where they had to learn to cooperate to ensure each other’s survival. That said, there is no excuse for these disruptive behaviors, and I think there is a tendency in this industry to tolerate these inconveniences under the guise that they are the price of great performance, when they could be avoided.“
