Dexter: Original Sin, as the novelty was called, will show the serial killer’s youth and should not count on the return of the former protagonist
Dexter: Original Sinprelude to Dexter (2006-2013) and Dexter: New Blood (2021-2022), already has its protagonists. The new series will take us to the past to meet the youth of Dexter Morganbefore he became the serial killer played by Michael C. Hall (Six Feet Under).
Patrick Gibsonknown for The OA (2016-2019) and Shadow and Bones (2021-2023), will be the protagonist of the novelty. Christian Slater (Mr Robot) will interpret Harry Morganthe character’s father, and Molly Brown (Back to the Ball) will live the sister of Dexter, Debra Morgan. In the original series, the characters were played by James Remar (Oppenheimer) It is Jennifer Carpenter (The White Girls).
Dexter it told the story of a forensic specialist who, during the day, solved crimes and, at night, committed murders. The series had eight seasons, aired between 2006 and 2013, and returned in 2021 with Dexter: New Bloodwhich revealed what had happened to the serial killer after ten years. However, the second show was not as successful and ended up canceled after one season.
