“He was very inventive. I literally cried the day I realized what he was doing, which must have been about four months [após o início das filmagens]”the actor revealed to the magazine Hello!remembering how he discovered the professional’s work, which he defined as “miraculous”:
“He showed me the helmet and I put it on. He had this thing in his eyes, which conveyed four different camera points with static shots, to show the performance space he’s in.”explained Cumberbatch.
“So he sees himself moving through space. He himself is not seeing where he is going. He is seeing the image that you see as a spectator, but from static points and having to perform, without falling, without bumping into things. It’s a miraculous skill”added the actor, adding that he ended up creating a friendship with Taylor because of that.
