Natalia Dyer discussed the love triangle between Nancy, Steve and Jonathan in Stranger Things – and who she should be with

the fourth season of Stranger Things (2016) brought several surprises to the fans, among them, the approach of Steve (Joe Keery) and Nancy (Natalia Dyer). The couple dated during the first season and part of the second, but later nancy got into a relationship with Jonathan (Charlie Heaton).
However, it did not prevent Steve of continuing to have feelings for her and that was more than clear this season when he declared himself to be nancy, saying that he still dreamed of a lifetime with her, in addition to getting married and having children. Now, Dyer commented on the love triangle that the series is preparing for the characters.
In an interview with Variety, the actress said she doesn’t know who the character will end up with: “It’s really difficult. I don’t know. It looks like she’s been in a relationship for a while, so maybe she needs some time to self-discovery.”
Dyer He added: “It’s a little complicated. Whatever happens, I hope she does it with integrity. I personally had some shocking feelings about how the whole thing with jonathan started behind the back of Steve. I can’t believe she did this.”
“I just think she’s stronger now. I think she’s more sure of herself. So whatever she decides to do, she will do it for the right reasons,” she said. The actress added, stressing how “nancy and Steve have come this far” so far in the series – both separately and together.
“What this season shows is the fact that these two people care about each other and it won’t go away. What is that and what label do you want to put on it, I don’t know, but we see these characters finding each other again after growing up and going through life with it. So that was really lovely to play. It was very fun and touching. I actually have no idea where this is going, but I like that they at least still care about each other.”
