No one is a prophet in his own country, says the proverb. But the reality is that being recognized abroad is not easy either. Except a few of course. As is the case of Knowing Russia, who just had a pleasant surprise in Madrid, Spain.
It all started when, via their social networks, Mateo Sujatovich called for a “Russian guitar” in Madrid. And, it must be said: he was more than surprised by the response from his fans.
It’s that nearly 400 fans attended the event and they met in Retiro Park, one of the emblematic sites of the Spanish capital.
And there, of course, there was no shortage of hugs, laughter or music.
“The truth is that I didn’t know that because of a message/invitation we were ALL going to be there. I totally ignore it,” Mateo said after the event.
And now? Now is the time to think again the two shows that the group will give at the Arena stadium in the city of Buenos Aires, on September 6 and 7, for which tickets can be purchased on the stadium website.
