Known for acting in films such as Star Trek (2009), Margin Call – The Day Before the End (2011) and Hitman: Agent 47 (2015), Zachary Quinto was accused of “making the host cry” and shouting at restaurant staff in Toronto, a city in Canada.

The story would have happened on June 2, 2024, at the restaurant Manitawho published a statement on Instagram about the alleged incident, with a request for the 47-year-old artist not to return to the scene.

According to the report made in the publication, Fifth “yelled at our staff like a spoiled child after not responding to two texts letting them know how ready his table was.” Furthermore, he allegedly “refused to believe that the empty tables in the dining room were not available to him, despite being politely informed that they were occupied.”

The text further described it as “a Spock amazing, but a terrible customer,” who “made our host cry and the rest of the brunch patrons felt uncomfortable.” Ultimately, the statement discouraged Zachary Quinto to return to the restaurant, as well as praising the “many charming celebrities” who frequented the restaurant.

Sir Fifthtake your bad vibes elsewhere, we have lots of adorable celebrities joining us on Manitabut you are NOT one of them

A few moments later, the restaurant’s account published a message on Instagram last Monday, 2, with explanations: “To expand on yesterday’s story of Zachary Quinto: This is not the first time, nor will it be the last time, that an irate guest has taken out their frustrations on our team.”

Manita is deeply grateful for our mostly amazing, friendly, and kind guests… who can give us constructive feedback from time to time.

To everyone else Zachary Quintos out there, on behalf of restaurant workers everywhere: we are not above criticism, but we are above being humiliated.
