There are days that are impossible to forget. Some good ones. Others, undoubtedly, bad. AND Luis Fonsi I just remembered one of the most negative, in which an allergic reaction left him unrecognizable.
Invited to the Spanish program “El Hormiguero” to present “El Viaje”, his latest album, the singer remembered what happened to him during one of his last performances in Argentina. And what that triggered.
Fonsi explained that it all happened with one of the fireworks he usually uses in his shows. When it exploded, a spark fell on one of his arms, so he had to be treated by the doctors on site.
However, apparently the cure was “worse than the disease”. The doctors, to calm his discomfort, gave him an injection containing aspirin, to which Luis is allergic.
“Take off my butt, inject and everything is fine. I’m going to my hotel to shower after the concert, and my face is starting to swell and the whole body and I knew it was an allergic reaction. In addition, since it was an injection, the effect was faster,” he explained.
And he continued: “I immediately went to the hospital. And it was a horrible moment, because my arm was burned and my face was completely disfigured. It was the worst day of my life“.
The anecdote, of course, had a happy ending. But Fonsi dared to show a picture of that day. And the result was great. “It’s very strong, my face is wrinkled,” he admitted.
And he didn’t exaggerate.
