Dead at the end of the third season, the character returned at the beginning of the new year, which arrived this Thursday (13) on Prime Video
The fourth and penultimate season The Boys premiered this Thursday (13) and the presence of a character may leave fans a little confused. Dead at the end of the third year, Black Noir is very much alive in the new chapters of the hit Prime Video series. But how?
Warning: possible spoilers for season 4 of The Boys!
Black Noir (Nathan Mitchell, Ginny and Georgia), one of the main members of Os Sete, was murdered by his teammate, Captain Homeland (Anthony Starr, Knock Knock Knock: Echoes from Beyond), after Super discovered that his partner knew about his relationship with Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles, Supernatural).
However, in the first chapter of the new season, called Dirty Tricks Departmentthe mysterious Super appears along with the rest of The Seven – and the explanation for this return from beyond may be in the comics of Garth Ennis It is Darick Robertsonon which the series is based.
Originally, Black Noir is not just another Super, but a clone of Captain Homeland, created by Vought to ensure he didn’t go crazy and, if he did, kill him. From what we are witnessing in the series, it seems that the next chapters should follow the same story as the comics and put the plan against the leader of The Seven into practice soon.
What to expect from season 4 of The Boys?
The Boys shows a reality in which Earth is inhabited by superheroes. However, despite being inspirations for humanity, these protectors are not as good as expected and hide a sinister side, which Billy Gross (Karl Urban), Hughie Campbell (Jack Quaid) and your friends are dying to expose it.
In the fourth season, while Victoria Neuman (Claudia Doumit) is getting closer every day to occupying the Oval Office, under the rule of Captain Homeland(Anthony Starr), Billy, who is only a few months old, discovered a way to put an end to the Supers once and for all, even though the risks are extremely high.
