Just days before the premiere of the second season of The House of the Dragon (2022- ), next Sunday (16), HBO announced that the series derived from game of Thrones(2011-2019) was renewed for a third year. “The Dance of Dragons Continues”says the post on social media.

What is the story of The House of the Dragon?
The House of the Dragon takes place about two hundred years before the events of game of Thrones and is adapted from the book Fire & Bloodin George R. R. Martin. In the 2nd season episode, Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D’Arcy, Truth Seekers) fights against his own brother, Aegon II Targaryen (Tom Glynn-Carney, Tolkien), for the right to sit on the Iron Throne and rule the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros.
