This will be the first time cox and D’Onofrio have shared the screen since 2018, when demolisher completed its three-season run at Netflix. Both have since been reintroduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universel (MCU), but in different projects.
The move takes place after cox have a special participation in Spider-Man: No Return Home (2021) where Matt Murdock (secret identity of demolisher) served as Peter Parker’s attorney. While D’Onofrio appears as a major villain in the series Archer hawk.
According to the podcast The Weekly Planetquoted by the specialized website, the series will show the hero investigating the whereabouts of Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter). This information, however, has not been confirmed, and should be treated as a rumor.
echo will accompany Maya Lopez (alaqua cox) returning to her hometown to reconnect with the past through her roots and embracing the meaning of family to move forward.
The list also has Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, Devery Jacobs, Cody Lightning, Graham Greene and Zahn McClarnon. the duo Sydney Freeland and Catriona McKenzie assume the direction of the project.
echo is scheduled to debut in 2023 on Disney+still no confirmed date.
