Paranormal things happen to me—and often, unfortunately,” she told her.

the actress of To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before (2018) recalled one of these episodes, revealing that she traveled to Los Angeles for a press conference, years ago, and felt frightening presences in the hotel where she stayed. Condor said she was alone in the room and checked everything before bed.

“The first thing I do when I walk into a room is basically scan the whole place: check the windows, check the curtains. ‘Is someone going to kill me? Are they hiding under the bed?’” he said. “So I checked everything and everything was fine. But the room had a very strange smell and was very cold. And it’s a five star hotel. So I thought, ‘why would they do that? But I went ahead, ate my food, went to sleep, and all night, I felt like there was someone at the end of my bed.”

The next day, Condor noticed that there was a scary painting on the wall, but decided not to touch it. “It was a painting of a demon standing on a mountain of skulls with spikes on its face. It was so, so weird,” she said. A friend spent the next night with the actress, but even then the feeling that “people were walking around me” continued.

That week, the actress filmed near the famous Hotel Cecil, known for murder cases and the mysterious death of Elisa Lam. The place has been renovated and has a new area for the public, but the stories have remained. “People died there. I was filming on the roof next to him. That whole weekend was so bad,” he said.
