The next batch of episodes will feature six new stories, including a sequel to the anthology’s fourth season episode “USS Callister.”
Charlie Brookercreator of Black Mirrorstated that the 7th season should return to the origins of the series, from the time when it was produced by the BBC before being acquired by Netflix from the 3rd season.
“We’re doing some things we’ve never done before [na nova temporada]. People can expect plenty of excitement and hopefully a good dose of chills.”revealed to the Deadline. “We did some horror stories in season six, which we labeled ‘Red Mirror.’ But this time, the episodes are all, in a way, like the Black Mirror original.”
“I wrote a script and the general consensus was that this is one of the darkest, heaviest gut punches of the series so far. There are also technical and other episodes that are making people cry. So hopefully it’s a full emotional cocktail, but we’ll see. The audience will be the judge.”Brooker added.
