George Clooney Isn’t a Star? His Response to Quentin Tarantino
Made famous by the series Urgences, George Clooney has been making films since the 90s. The actor is known all over the world and not only for coffee commercials. The actor still played Batman, continued the Ocean’s saga and distinguished himself under the direction of the brothers Joel and Ethan Coen. We also remember his role in A Night in Hell next to… Quentin Tarantino. However, it seems that George Clooney’s career is not that impressive for the latter, which has drawn the ire of the actor.
While she was on the cover of the magazine GQGeorge Clooney has returned to several topics, including the question of movie stars in Hollywood. He then took the opportunity to put the director of the pulp Fiction who had not been kind to him. The filmmaker had in fact mentioned several movie stars, including Brad Pitt, before choosing George Clooney, who therefore he does not consider an actor of this category. His view of Hollywood stars
Despite everything, George Clooney admitted that things in Hollywood have changed and this translates into a lack of real stars. According to him, in his time, it was the end of an era in which it was possible “make three or four films for a studio, with a plan in placeFrom now on it will be harder to sell a project based on a star. Which is not to say that it is all bad.
But it’s a great time for a young actor. (…) Studios used to produce only five films a year. Today there are 600 shows. So there’s a lot more work for actors.
We’ll soon find George Clooney in the action comedy Wolves alongside Brad Pitt. And while Apple’s film hasn’t come out yet (it’s scheduled for In French theaters on September 18th), a sequel has already been announced.
