Minus 10 kg, plus figure: how I got in shape before the wedding in two months

It happens that you have some kind of goal in front of you, for which you need to work on yourself. Like a wedding! This story shows that you can always get in shape, there would be a desire.

“My name is Anna, I am 31 years old. I decided to lose weight and improve my figure before marriage, I spent several months and lost 10 kilograms. Now I like my form more than ever.

My story

I’ve been an athletic girl all my life, but I also tend to be overweight, so I’ve had to train a lot to stay in shape. I was a professional rower, I trained 10 times a week (!), and that was a lot. After college, I quit sports and went to work. I ate the same amount and exercised much less.

Then I moved and started running and cycling. And once I got carried away with the F45 program, which combines cardio and strength exercises. I really like this!

We have varied formations, all the participants are motivated and we had fun together. At the start of the trip, I weighed around 80 kilograms.

And then the competitions entered our program: 2 months of training and good nutrition. It was very timely: my boyfriend and I were getting married, and there were almost 3 months until the event.

It was like that: Monday, Wednesday and Friday we did cardio and we ate accordingly. Tuesday and Thursday were strength training and the menu was dominated by protein.

As a result, I achieved my goal and lost 10 kilograms. It was possible to lose more, but on the weekends I was not ready to diet, although I continued to move towards proper nutrition. During the pandemic, I continued to study online.

What am I eating now

Breakfast: scrambled eggs with vegetables or yoghurt with red fruits and nuts.

Lunch: chicken or fish with vegetables.

Dinner: meat with whole grain pasta.

Snacks: nuts, fruits, protein shakes.

What helped me

I had a goal! If you need to get in shape before an important event or run 10 kilometers, it is better to set a specific goal. For now, I just want to keep what I was able to accomplish.

Another point: a whole support group has been created around me. I really like training with people who share the same values.

And it’s also very convenient for me to eat according to a plan when I don’t have to think about anything. Now it’s much easier to keep the figure in good shape!”
