Grammys 2022: Scandals with Louis CK reappear after winning awards

the comedian Louis CK. won one Grammy on Sunday night, 3, in the category Best Comedy Album with Sincerely Louis CK (2020) and brought up again the sexual harassment controversies he has been involved in in recent years – which became a joke in the comedy special.

Allegations of sexual harassment emerged in 2017, when a newspaper The New York Times published an article about five women who claimed that Louis CK masturbated in front of them. Victims stated that they were surprised by the situation as it did not occur during a consensual sex actor.

During the comedy special, Louis CK joked about the allegations and about the sexual crimes he committed. “I like masturbating, I don’t like being alone is all I can tell you. I feel lonely, and it’s very sad. I like company. I like to share. I’m good at it too [masturbação]. If you’re good at juggling, you wouldn’t do it alone in the dark. Later, the comedian released a note stating that the accusations were true, that he regretted what he had done and would begin to reflect more on his own behavior in front of people who admired him:

“I told myself that what I did was normal because I have never shown my penis to a woman without asking first, which is also true. But what I learned later in life, too late, is that when you have power over another person, asking them to look at your penis is not a question.” (via UOL)
