We start on September 26th with an exclusive interview with Giovanna Iannantuoni, Magnificent Rector of the University of Milan-Bicocca and president of the Conference of Rectors of Italian Universities. The in-depth study, conducted by Pierluigi Sassi, President of Earth Day Italia, environmental economic journalist for L’Osservatore Romano and recognized expert in the field of sustainability, will address the role of young people within major global challenges in light of the findings of the Summit on the Future of New York. After the interview, the host will be enriched by Claudia Segre, a leading figure in the field of finance and founder of the Global Thinking Foundation, for a speech in which, together with renowned exponents from the world of institutions, economics and the third sector, will explore the need for a new alliance between the parts of society to meet the demands given at all levels of the ecological and digital transition, from the need to change the productive economic system, to educational challenges , to the issue of social and gender inequality. .
The first day of the program ends at 8pm with a preview of the animated film The Wild Robotdirected by Chris Sanders and distributed by Universal Pictures International Italyout in theaters on October 10th. The film tells the adventures of Roz, a robot who after a shipwreck lands him on an uninhabited island where he must learn to adapt to the hostile environment, gradually develop relationships with the island’s animals, and be the adoptive parent of an orphan. goose. An additional appointment awaits the public on September 27: at 8.00 pm the docu-film Libere… di VIVERE written and directed by Antonio Silvestre and produced by Mario Tani for MAC FILM will be screened: it was born from the idea by Claudia Segre to spread knowledge about gender-based economic violence and its devastating consequences, through the real testimonies of women victims of this type of abuse. The screening will be preceded by an Argentine tango performance by Sophie Sperling & Francis Aguilar and will be introduced by Claudia Segre and other distinguished guests including director Antonio Silvestre, lawyer Elisabetta Aldrovandi and actress and testimonial Giulia Cappelletti.
