In a Spanish hospital, the actor visited oncology patients dressed as a character from the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ franchise
Although it has not been confirmed in a possible reboot of Pirates of the Caribbean, Johnny Depp embodied Jack Sparrow — his character in the franchise — once again. He paid a visit to the Donostia university hospital, in San Sebastián, Spain, this Thursday, the 26th.
“Jack Sparrow talked, joked and laughed with the children admitted to the hospital’s pediatric oncology department,” the institution declared in a Facebook post. “They shared laughs and jokes, which helped the children forget for a few minutes the difficulties they are going through right now.”
The actor is in town for the San Sebastián International Film Festivalwhich takes place between the 20th and 28th of September. Depp is promoting Modi – Three Days on the Wing of Madnessa film directed by himself.
