Starring Adam Brody (The OC: A Stranger in Paradise) and Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars), the new feature is in first place in streaming
After the overwhelming success of Menendez Brothers: Parental Killersnew chapter of the anthology MonstersNetflix already has a new favorite: Nobody Wantsromantic comedy starring Adam Brody (The OC: Stranger in Paradise) and Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars), which has become the most watched series on the streaming platform in recent days.
Created by Erin Foster (“Dr. Foster”), the novelty tells the story of Joanne (Kristen Bell), a presenter of podcast agnostic, and Noah (Adam Brody), an unconventional rabbi, who just ended a relationship.
The two meet at a party and leave together. Despite their religious differences, they get along very well and form a relationship. However, is love capable of surviving the different lifestyles and the intrusions of both families?
The novelty is inspired by the story of Foster with your husband, Simon Tikhmanwho should have married a Jewish woman, as tradition dictates. The two met in 2018, at a gym in Los Angeles, and got engaged the following year.
Despite Tikhman Not considering himself a particularly religious person, he always felt the desire to maintain family traditions, as his parents were persecuted and forced to leave the Soviet Union in 1979, just as happened with the character’s parents in Brody.
The idea for the series came up in 2019, when Foster was converting to Judaism at the beginning of his relationship with Tikhman. For the magazine Vulturethe creator stated that she considers Nobody Wants one “love letter” to the companion. Watch the trailer for the new feature:
